Eight years old, and already on the jobsite.
Growing up in a builder's household, John was handed his first set of responsibilities at just eight years old. He was working side by side with his dad on jobsites before most kids had their first paper route. That early foundation instilled in him something no classroom could replicate: a genuine love for the craft of building homes from the ground up.
John pursued his education, earning his degree from Northwood University, but weekends and summers always brought him back to the jobsite, learning every phase of the process. From digging basements and installing septic systems to the final touches that turn a house into someone's dream home, John mastered it all under the watchful eye of a father who didn't take shortcuts and didn't accept anything less than excellence.
By the time most builders are just earning their license, John had already spent two decades working alongside his father. The skills that take a lifetime to learn, he was given a head start on.
